(Leesburg, VA) — Buta Biberaj was endorsed for Loudoun County Commonwealth’s Attorney by Attorney General Mark Herring.“Buta Biberaj is my choice to be Loudoun County’s next Commonwealth’s Attorney. As Attorney General, I need partners like Buta throughout Virginia who will balance keeping our communities safe and ensuring justice for all. As a Substitute Judge for more than 11 years, 25 years as a trial attorney and guardian ad litem, active community leader, and resident, Buta has proven herself to be the most qualified candidate to meet the needs of Loudoun County. I strongly endorse Buta to be the next Commonwealth’s Attorney for Loudoun County,” said Herring. Biberaj, a long time Loudoun County resident, with experience as a trial attorney, judge, guardian ad litem, and business owner, would bring over 25 years of diverse experience to the role of chief prosecutor.
“It means a lot to have the support of Attorney General Herring. Mark’s vote of confidence is humbling because he is a Native Loudouner and always seeks to do what is best for our community, as do I. I have lived and worked in Loudoun since the early ‘90s and am invested in making our community better – added inclusivity, diversity, transparency, and community engagement. It is my goal to ensure that the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney is accountable to its residents.
